Meet the Winner of Our 4th Annual Homebrew Competition

We’re raising a glass to another incredible year of our Homebrew Competition—now in its fourth year! This time, we teamed up with local favorite DC Brau Brewing Company to take things to the next level.
The winning beer? A crisp, refreshing Saison D’été by Andrew Shore of the GRiST brew club. As part of this special partnership, Andrew’s recipe was scaled up by DC Brau and will be available on tap at all Pizzeria Paradiso locations and DC Brau starting August 1.
Each year, our competition honors the creativity and passion of homebrewers by not only awarding prizes like gift cards and restaurant swag—but also by giving the winning beer a real platform: brewed at scale and poured for beer lovers across the region.
Looking ahead, we’re thrilled to announce that our 5th Annual Homebrew Competition will be in collaboration with fellow RAMMY Best Beer Program of the Year finalist, Atlas Brew Works.
